LOOPHOLES
Remember the Scripture that says, "Whoever divorces his wife, let him do it legally, giving her divorce papers and her legal rights"? Matthew 5:31-32 MSG
Too many of you are using that as a cover for selfishness and whim, pretending to be righteous just because you are 'legal.' Please, no more pretending. You can't use legal cover to mask a moral failure.
Christ reminds us that God's law is not about finding the loopholes, but fulfilling the promise to love one another with all our hearts, souls and minds.

That love was extended by God, The Father, to all of His creation through Jesus, The Christ. Jesus fulfilled the promise of love by giving Himself for our sins and thereby setting the standard. Through His example, I have come to believe that in this life, there is not one reason good enough for divorce. I know that most persons would not want to touch the last statement, but it the Truth. I would be glad to an open discussion about this, should anyone want to share.
